Made well but not balanced. Cold arms. Heavy, stiff body.

Had 9 months.

The Good: Well-sealed seams. Only 1 or 2 tiny leaks now. Well above average. Great craftsmanship.

The Bad: Arms are way too thin. Feels like 2mm. Very flexible but cold. It's just the arms but made my whole body colder. Strangely the rest of the suit is the opposite. The inside towel-like liner adds tons of weight. I was super surprised how heavy it was, even when dry, then wait till it's wet, it's like someone hid a toddler in there. The liner also makes it much less flexible and adds about 1mm more to the thickness. I returned it for a 4/3. It feels as thick and warm as a 5/4, except for the arms. But it's heavier and stiffer than a 5/4. Seems like they'd ditch the towel liner and just add other mm. It'd be lighter, more flexible and just as warm or warmer. Plus loose the weird unbalance cold arms thing. I can't figure it out, is the towel-liner a gimmick thing or is a 4/3 with the liner cheaper to make than a 5/4?

Conclusion: bad combo and choice of materials seem like such a waste of their great craftsmanship. I wish I could order a custom suit from them at a decent price.

Damn Good Suit

Been surfing for over 30 years now and I've tried every wetsuit out there, but this suit is the best ever!

Looked good, did not last

Seemed like a well-made suit, was warm for the first couple of months, but developed a few holes in the crotch pretty quickly. Reached out to Vissla and they did not stand behind the warranty or the product. Wanted to like this suit and company, but was just so disappointed.

Meh

Warm suit, but rubber seems to be incredibly low quality. Had it for a week and then a hole blew out in the leg out of nowhere. Didn't even feel anything, just looked down and saw a gaping hole in my suit. Visslas "warranty" is you paying for all the shipping and them ironing on a piece of neoprene over the hole. Not awful, but Xcel would have probably just sent a brand new suit. And Rip Curl does a super pro job when they fix suits. So in comparison to other companies their warranty is sub par. Keeps me really warm but I won't be getting another one.

Crazy Warm and Comfortable!

This suit is crazy warm. It's been around the mid 50s in SoCal this winter and with this suit it feels like 80. I can be in the water for hours without feeling cold. Like any other 4/3 it feels very heavy, but I guess that is one of the drawbacks of a thicker suit. Would absolutely recommend it!
