Shipping Policy

  • Shipping on non-oversized orders $75.00 or over is free of charge to customers within the Continental U.S.
  • Free shipping will be either USPS Ground Advantage, USPS Parcel Select Ground, or UPS Ground Saver (at the discretion of Cleanline Surf).
  • Free shipping transit times vary from 2-10 business days.
  • If you place multiple orders with Free Shipping we may combine them into one shipment
  • Any express shipping will be calculated at checkout and paid in full by the customer.
  • Shipments are only delivered on business days, not on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays. The US Postal Service (USPS) may deliver on Saturdays. Call us for more information on other Saturday delivery options that may be available to your shipping address.

  • Some oversized items will not be included in our free shipping policy. See Oversize Items section for details.

 

Order Processing

  • Processing Time. Please allow one business day from time of placing your order for processing. Orders are not processed, shipped, or delivered on weekends.
  • In Store Pickups. Because we stock items in multiple locations, it can take up to 24hrs for an In Store Pickup to be ready. If placed by 1pm PST, In Store Pickup orders will be ready for pickup by 3pm PST the same day. Orders placed after 1pm PST will be ready for pickup the following day by 3pm PST.
  • Expedited Orders. If placed on a business day by 2:00PM PST expedited orders will ship the same day. If placed on a weekend or holiday, or after 2:00PM PST an expedited order will ship the next business day. Expedited shipping methods include, USPS Priority Express, UPS 3 Day, UPS 2nd Day, and UPS Next Day.
  • Note on Expedited Orders. Expedited options are not delivered on weekends and major holidays. If an order ships Next Day Air on Friday, it is delivered Monday. If you need something delivered on Saturday it may be possible, please call us to discuss options.
  • USPS Priority Mail. We do not consider USPS Priority Mail an expedited shipping method and if you select this method it will ship within 1 business day, and then take an additional 1 - 3 business days to be delivered.
  • Surfboards & Oversized Items. Please note that surfboards can take 1 to 3 business days to ship.
  • Tracking. Once your package has shipped, you will receive an email notification from Cleanline Surf with your tracking number within 24 hours.
  • Out of Stock Items. Although we do our best to stock all items shown on our site, occasionally we do run out. In this case, you will be notified within 1-2 business days of placing your order. In most cases we can have the item to you in an additional 7-10 business days.

 

Order Tracking

Please note that surfboards can take 1 to 3 business days to ship. For all other orders we will e-mail your tracking number to you within 1 business day of your order being placed (often much sooner). If you do not receive this tracking number then please check your e-mail spam folder.

US Shipping Rates for Firewire Surfboards

  • Firewire Surfboards and Cleanline Surf have teamed up to make sure you can get any Firewire surfboard you want shipped to your door. Through our partnership, we have direct access to inventory at the Firewire warehouse in California and we can special order you boards by Firewire, Slater Designs, Tomo Designs, CJ Nelson Designs, Harley Ingleby Series, Kai Sallas, Skindog Surfboards, Soleil Series, Taylor Jensen Series.
  • Here's how it works. Once an order is placed we contact Firewire promptly to confirm your board is in stock. Once confirmed the average wait time for a board to ship is 3 business days. Additionally transit time is 1 to 5 business days depending on where you are located. Most boards are ready to go, however, if there is any extended delay in shipping your board we will let you know right away.

Manera Drop Ship Shipping

  • Manera and Cleanline Surf have teamed up to make sure you can get Manera products shipped directly to your door. Through our partnership, we have direct access to inventory at the Manera warehouse in California.
  • Here’s how it works. Once an order is placed, we contact Manera promptly to confirm the order. After the order is confirmed, on average, Manera can ship either the same day or the following business day. Additionally, transit time is 1-5 business days depending on where you are located. Manera ships with FedEx and USPS.
  • If your order contains items other than Manera products, your Manera order will ship separately. You will receive separate tracking notifications for each shipment.
  • Expedited shipping? We’ll need to get you a custom quote if you are working with a deadline and need your order delivered in a few days.

International Shipping

  • Estimated delivery time is 10 business days although we cannot account for time spent in customs for your country. Cleanline Surf will not be responsible for duties, taxes or fees upon entry
  • Customs Brokers Fees to Canada are typically charged by the Canadian government and/or the Courier Service and must be paid by you once the package arrives. Cleanline Surf cannot determine what these fees will be. We recommend that you check with your local customs office or post office for details on how these charges are assessed and applied. These fees are not included in our shipping and handling rates. Delays at customs, while rare, can add up to two weeks to delivery time. Shipping Damage

Although damage when shipping a surfboard is rare, it does occur, therefore all surfboards are shipped fully insured for your security. Please be sure to inspect your package thoroughly BEFORE you sign for it. If damage to the package is obvious upon delivery be sure to make a note with the driver and if possible take multiple pictures of the box BEFORE you open it. Shipping to a Hotel

For customers traveling to the USA and opting to ship orders to a hotel address, we would like to provide some important recommendations to ensure a smooth delivery process.

Before placing your order, we kindly ask you to take note of the following recommendations:

  1. Contact the hotel where you will be staying and inquire whether they accept packages for guests.
  2. Inform the hotel staff that you are expecting a package and provide them with relevant details, including your anticipated arrival date and the expected arrival date of the package.
  3. When entering your shipping address, please use the following example format:

         Customer First Name and Last Name
         C/O [Insert Hotel Name & Room # Here]
         Address Street
         City, State, ZIP Code

If the hotel does not accept packages, we suggest considering alternative delivery options, such as utilizing the services of a local UPS and shipping store. Prior to placing your order, we recommend contacting the chosen store or post office to make the necessary arrangements.

Please note that once your order has been shipped, the package will be in the hands of the shipping vendor and out of our control.
