The sometimes overshadowed younger brother of the thruster set up, Quads are a four fin set up, with two fins on each side. Quads Fins have been around since the ’80s but have really come back into popularity in the last 15 years as surfers discovered the excellent benefits they can provide. With so much fin in the water, Quads create a lot of stability and are often used to provide more lift, control and speed. Quad Fins also work really well at creating speed in small waves but can also provide much more hold and drive than other fin setups in powerful, barrelling waves. We have lots of different quad sets in both Futures and FCS versions as well as quad rear sets which can easily convert your favorite thruster set into a quad.
