Need to start a return?
Returns are easy.
Simply package up your gear using an appropriately sized box, like the one it came in.
Create an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) request through our automated portal.
Once approved, ship the items back using the provided pre-paid label* or through the carrier of your choice.
Cleanline Surf 30-Day Return Policy
- If you are not completely satisfied with your products, you may return any purchase within 30 days of receipt.
- Items must be in new/unused condition, in original packaging with the original tags, receipt, all warranty cards, manuals and accessories.
- The manufacturer's original packaging that comes with your item and all accessories that may be part of the item must also be returned undamaged.
- This means if your item comes in a box (for instance a shoe box) you will need to ship it inside another box to keep it in new condition.
- Carefully package your items for the return. Improperly packaged returns that arrive damaged during shipping may be charged for repairs.
- Cleanline Surf does not refund any shipping costs on returns unless the return was due to an error on our part.
- Please inspect all items upon arrival for errors or defects and contact us immediately if there is any loss or damage.
- If it is our error that is the cause for your return, we will reimburse your shipping costs to return your items.
- This is actual UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail service and will not include any packaging, preparing, or mailroom costs.
- We will not reimburse for any Expedited Shipping:
- Overnight, Next Day, 2nd Day Air Shipping, etc.
- Please allow approximately 3 business days for your return to be processed once it has arrived.
- Returns for refund on special orders may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
International Return Policy
- If you are not completely satisfied with your products, you may return any purchase within 30 days of receipt
- International orders cannot be returned via the online return portal. Please read below on how to return your international order
- If you are now in the US, you may return your items at our retail stores located in Cannon Beach, and Seaside, Oregon
- If you need to return your international order through the mail, you are responsible for return shipping costs, as well as any duty and taxes associated with the return shipment
- Items must be in new/unused condition, in original packaging with the original tags, receipt, all warranty cards, manuals and accessories.
- Cleanline Surf is not responsible for items lost or damaged while in transit
- Carefully package your items for the return. Improperly packaged returns that arrive damaged during shipping may be charged for repairs.
- Be sure to use a carrier that provides insurance and tracking
- Please include your order confirmation, receipt, or packing slip
- You must provide a return shipping address on the package

Surfboard Return Policy
You may return any new stock surfboard if it meets the following terms and conditions:
- The surfboard was purchased new from our stock and was not special order
- The surfboard must be returned within 30 days of purchase.
- The surfboard must be in new condition: never ridden or used in the water, never waxed, or damaged.
- The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs, insurance, and any damage in transit.
- A $50 restocking fee is applied to a new surfboard return that shipped directly from Cleanline Surf in Seaside, OR.
- A $50 restocking fee is applied to a new surfboard return that shipped directly from Surftech in Carlsbad, CA.
- A $100 restocking fee is applied to a new surfboard return that shipped directly from Firewire in Carlsbad, CA.
Swimsuit Return Policy
Swimsuits are eligible for return if they meet the following conditions:
- The swimsuit must be in its original condition, unworn and unused, and returned in its original packaging, with all tags and labels attached.
- The original hygiene sticker (if applicable) must be intact. Items without these stickers will not be eligible for return.
Oversized Items

Alternatively, you can purchase your own label and ship your return using the carrier and service of your choosing.
