The Modern Keels feature a lengthy base and an extended amount of rake that will provide exceptional amounts of drive. These fins are well suited to be used in fast, and down the line type conditions. These fins (which we have always offered as glass-ons) have been specially developed with a slight amount of angled relief in the base in order to fit in Futures fin boxes.

Hexcore
The Resin Transfer Method (RTM) allows True Ames to construct a composite fin, inside of which hexagonal pieces of lightweight coremat displace Fiberglass and resin. The result: a fin that is 25% lighter than a normal solid Fiberglass fin, without compromising performance. The True Ames Hexcore fins have become the standard by which system fins are measured.
