True Ames' warranty does not cover any issues or damage related to normal wear and tear, accidental damage, alterations made by a customer, inappropriate use, damage due to external circumstances (hitting rocks or reef etc.), warping due to heat exposure, or loss of the product.

Used this on many an old 70s single fin. Best for creating drive off those narrow tailed boards. This was butter on bread back then. A thick foil and a rounded of tip to pivot off of. Why mess with a good thing? It can still work just fine in a 2+1 longboard. If you've got an old 70's board with a box, this will work best. Or if you don't want flex in your fin, then try it out . As valid today as the day it was conceived.
