Product Info

Meet Stab in the Dark’s 2022 season champ: the CI Pro. Britt’s winning shortboard design, as seen under the feet of Jack Robinson, was made in collaboration with Parker Coffin. The most rockered board in the Channel Islands' current line, the CI Pro is the pinnacle of high performance. The continuous rocker which is curviest beneath your feet allows for quick directional changes while the low curve out the back maximizes projection. The CI Pro's minimal single concave with a very slight double through the fins causes the board to sit in the water and creates a more connected feel at high speeds and through your turns. The curvier outline matched with soft, tucked rails provide for extreme rail to rail surfing. To put it concisely, the CI Pro let’s you do whatever you want without thinking.

ⓘ SURFBOARD REPAIRED DAMAGE
This board has some cosmetic scuffs and had some very minor damage to the nose. This has been repaired. See photos for further detail.

Product Construction

Polyurethane/Polyester Resin
Building a board in PU means using a Polyurethane foam blank and glassing it with polyester (PE) resin . This is how the majority of today’s surfboards are built. It is not a new way to make a board, but the materials are very stable, strong, consistent, and easy to work with. Many surfers prefer the feel of PU boards because that is what they have ridden all their lives, and because they feel really good.

Ultra Light 4+4/4
UL is standard on all shortboards 6'4 and under with two full layers of 4oz. deck and one full layer of 4oz. bottom result in a high performance stock glass job.
