Great fin, but poor design (what - how can both be true)???

I wanted to like this fin, but when putting the fins into a brand new rounded twin fin with futures boxes I cracked the glass immediately behind the box. I heard it first. My heart instantly sank, and then I realized it was because of the fin design. If you look at most twin keels, or any fin where the base is considerably longer than the futures tab, you will see that the back of the fin base is angle upward toward. This is to prevent you from doing what I did… cracking the glass with the tip of the fin base while installing. As you know, you install a set of futures by planting the back of the tab first and then dropping in the front. Because the back of the base doesn’t angle up, please for the love of god be extremely careful when dropping these fins into a new board… or any board for that matter! The fin does feel great in better waves… just a subtle design flaw.
