The Buell RB2 5/4 Hooded Chest Zip Wetsuit is Buell’s premier suit. The triple glued blind stitched seams are even stronger with an external seam seal and internal seam tape. Buell added a slant zip feature to improve the warmth and minimize the likelihood of flushing. An attached hood on the RB2 5/4 is an added feature to keep surfers warm in the coldest of conditions. Buell also implemented a grid thermal insulation on the chest, back, and torso lining.

Manufacturer’s Description
The insulated RB2 5/4 Hooded Slant Chest Zip Wetsuit is Buell's warmest most water tight wetsuit built for barrels. The Slant-Zip entry gives you one-sided water seal performance that pushes the limits of a wetsuit’s warmth potential. Toasty warm in extreme conditions!
Ninja Neoprene is the lightest, stretchiest and softest neoprene material in the water. With roughly 30% less water absorption, dries quicker and is limestone— so it’s better for the environment. The suit has glued and blindstitched seams with power-lite “Sizzle” seam seal on the outside. Critical seam junctions are reinforced with seam tape for added strength. The ultimate seam seal. Liquid rubber lines the exterior seam, which, combined with the glued and blindstitched seam make the seams completely waterproof. Soft and comfortable Kevlar-like kneepads are tough on the outside, but soft and stretchy on the inside. Smooth rubber seal integrated into the cuffs prevent expansion and keep water out while maximizing comfort. Fluid rubber seal at the neck wrists and ankles help to prevent expansion while keeping water out.

Buell Men's Wetsuits — Size Chart
Your new Buell wetsuit should feel like a 2nd skin. Like it's part of your body. Obviously a wetsuit should fit tight. The only question is tight, or tiiiiiggght? Quick answer? If you are between two wetsuit sizes on the size chart below, decide if warmth or ease-of-entry is more important to you. For warmth go with the smaller size. To make it easy to get into, go with the larger size.
At Cleanline Surf we specialize in sizing Buell Wetsuits. We do have size
charts available below, however if you have never tried on a Buell Wetsuit
before, we strongly urge you to call and speak with one of our Buell Wetsuit
experts. When it comes to Buell Wetsuits, getting the right size is
extremely important and a quick phone call will save you both time and money
by avoiding a return.
I am absolutely loving this suit. I live in New York part of the year and needed a new winter suit. Previously I have had XCEL wetsuits but due to a shoulder injury I wanted something easier to get on and off. Conversations with friends and other surfers convinced me to try Buell. I'm glad I did. This suit is very warm, comfortable and easy to get in and out of. Plus, for some reason, Buell suits are cheaper than the bigger name brands. I will be trying thinner Buell suits when the time comes. Also, the crew at Cleanline fulfilled the order and got it to me right away. I'm a very happy customer.

Great product.
I wore my new wetsuit out in some overhead sets in RI today. It was in the mid forties when I paddled out. The water temp is about 67. Maybe a little more suit than I needed today, but I was warm and cozy. I did not put the hood up. I surfed for 2.5 hours and never got cold. Very comfortable and flexible. I am 6'1", 185 lbs and the XL fits me perfectly.

Good Value
Overall a nice suit. Not as comfortable or as flexible as the O'Neill Hyperfreak I had before; however, the Buell is warm and is not overly stiff. I have a hunch that it will also be more durable, but only time will tell... I miss having a hood brim to cut down on sun and water drips in the eyes, but I suppose that's personal preference.
