The remaining velcro sticks to the suit (not the part that has a place to stick to itself). I did feel water down the neck, so it is not tight or sealed enough around the neck. And I felt water through the holes in the lower back. Otherwise, not too bad to paddle in the thick 5/4mm. And, good price for the thick suit. Also, I like that I could find a womens' 5/4 in back zip - they are rare!

Great suit
I haven’t gotten it wet yet but it fits great and like all billabong wetsuits it’s really good quality. When the water gets colder it will be my go to until I need to wear my hooded suit.
