2025 Save The Waves Film Festival

Exciting news! Cleanline Surf will be co-hosting the 2025 International Save the Waves Film Festival in partnership with Finisterre. This event will be held locally at Fort George Brewery in Astoria, Oregon, on October 3rd. It is open to all ages, and we'll be raffling off some fantastic prizes after the film!

The Save the Waves Film Festival has been on tour worldwide, promoting its mission to “protect surf ecosystems across the globe.” This event is an excellent opportunity for the surf community of the Pacific Northwest to come together, socialize over surf films and beers, and support the sustainability of our Oceans. These inspiring nonfiction and documentary films are about surf and water sports, travel and adventure, conservation, and climate awareness.

James grew up as a snowboarder in the Wasatch Mountain range, with an admiration of the sea. After catching his first wave and soaking up the sea breeze, he gained an eternal love for surfing. Nowadays, he lives to ride sideways and is stoked to share his passions with others while writing blogs and working on the Customer Service team. If you don’t see him at the surf break, he’ll be pumping a bowl or ripping down a mountain.
