Rip Curl Men's Wetsuits — Size Chart
At Cleanline Surf we specialize in sizing Rip Curl Wetsuits. Every brand
fits a bit different so if you have any doubt about what size wetsuit to
get, we strongly urge you to call and speak with one of our wetsuit experts.
Getting the right size is extremely important and in the end it will save
you both time and money by avoiding a return.
3 sessions in: The suit is very warm. Feels a little bulky up top in the zipper-less area and tight in the paddling for now, hopefully it breaks in. Almost every LT fits me correctly all across the board. It does not leak a single drop in big waves which is great. Really my biggest gripe when I first saw the suit are the cinching clips for the hood and chest that are not intuitive or easy to use, especially with 3mm gloves on. Why not just put regular pinch cinches on it that can be used blind, upside down, in an underwater cave without a problem whatsoever? I may trade them out with my old O'Neill cinches. After stripping out of probably 30 different wetsuits in my lifetime, I will say that my other complaint would be that the suit is straight up hard to get out of to the point to where you definitely have a moment of claustrophobia but still far from seeing red. If you do hurt your shoulder or something surfing you definitely will be stuck in this suit indefinitely. I saw other reviews saying it's easy to get out of, sorry but it's not. This suit needs some kind of smoothie inside, it would make all the difference. Although I love my non-hooded zipper-less O'Neill Hyperfreak, I am not seeing the advantage of a hooded zipper-less. It is way easier, flexible, and more comfortable with a zippered suit (IE Psychotech or Xcel comp lite), especially with frozen hands. Overall very good suit, well built, and truly impressive quality. Excited to wear it for the season and work out the little kinks.

I was reluctant to get this suit at first for only being a 4/3 because I surf mainly north coast wa, but to my surprise it was totally warm enough. And... the flexibility with this suit is 110% better than my Buel rb2 and Quick Syncro. I’m stoked on this suit, reminds me of my elasto series from years ago when I was a grom. Cleanline is the only shop I’ll buy through... excellent customer service all the time!
