Product Info

The True Ames Ryan Burch Futures Compatible Twin Fin Set true all-around hybrid style twin, these fins designed by Ryan Burch are built for harnessing speed and drive, without sacrificing responsiveness and maneuverability. This twin offers the full ability to surf rail to rail and execute both tight radius turns in the pocket as well searing carves on a steep wave face. This template bridges the gap between a more upright high-aspect twin and a traditional larger profile keel, and subsequently draws on many of the biggest positive performance aspects from both.

E-Glass has excellent flex characteristics and performance longevity, while featuring the bonus of outstanding color vibrancy that allows for the variety of colors True Ames offers.

Ryan Burch History & Origin
Ryan Burch is a surfer-shaper from North County San Diego who became well known for his experimental surfboard designs and highly respected free-surfing career. He grew up surfing from early childhood and by his teen years he was already riding a variety of boards, including wooden alaias, rectangular foam blocks, and experimenting with other non-traditional shapes. After picking up shaping, over time and through the influence of folks like Carl Ekstrom, he developed a signature approach and began on his asymmetrical surfboard journey which has become a staple element in his career. Burch’s board designs span across fishes, shortboards, quads, gliders, and old-school twin-keels, and he is still building them all by hand. Over the years this experimental, DIY ethos as well as his uncanny surfing ability has made him a leading figure in the alternative surfboard realm.
