Ocean-Safe Ingredients
The Sticky Bumps surf waxes are made from mineral waxes (non-toxic, biodegradable paraffins and microcrystalline waxes), calcium carbonate, and eco-friendly tackifiers, which include terpene (tree) resins, non-toxic scent, and non-toxic dye. All ingredients comply with TSCA/EPA/Prop 65 regulations for non-toxicity.
Wax
Paraffin is the base for all surf wax formulations. They add calcite, fragrance, and special secret sauce to create the highest quality waxes in the industry.
Calcite
Sticky Bumps was the first to use calcite in surf wax. A key component of Sticky Bumps surf wax, calcite is made from decomposed seashells, fossils and other organic material.
Fragrance
The aroma of wax is important - without it, surf wax wouldn't be the same. They add fragrances to each bar for that famous Sticky Bumps smell everyone loves.
