Holiday Returns
For any orders placed after Nov 1st, 2025, we have extended our normal 30-day return policy to allow returns through January 31st, 2026.
Returns are easy! We understand that in some situations returns may be necessary. We also want you to be stoked on your purchase. If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase you may return it for a full refund, within 30 days of receiving your order. Items must be in new condition with original tags and packaging.

O'Neill Men's Wetsuits - Size Chart
At Cleanline Surf we specialize in sizing O'Neill Wetsuits. We do have size
charts available below, however if you have never tried on a O'Neill Wetsuit
before, we strongly urge you to call and speak with one of our O'Neill
Wetsuit experts. When it comes to O'Neill Wetsuits, getting the right size
is extremely important and a quick phone call will save you both time and
money by avoiding a return.
I use this suit mainly for kitesurfing in Chicago area where water never stays that warm for long. I also use a hybrid dry wetsuit like O'neil fluid or Forward WIP semi-dry suits for when temps fall into upper 30's into 50's. The Mutant is my go to suit in general because of the flexibility as well as ease of in and out for a snug fitting suit. The give on the technobutter is about as good as it gets and the interchangeable hood and collar are amazing. Not sure why someone has to make a comment about zipper being less than idea when it is just what it is and nearly all suits have an element of "getting to know you, getting to know me". The huge opening at the top makes it much easier to get in and out of compared to other suits where I felt trapped. I'm top heavy with wide shoulders so the flexible large opening at the top works better than any other options I've tried and have tried a 1/2 dozen in shops.
Also, someone mentioned its a drag when you loose one of the interchangeable pieces.... guess what? They are replaceable and made to order. Loose the hood, simply use a add-on hood. Loose the collar is a little more inconvenient but when this suit is on it's hard to beat the convenience of swopping between hood and collar combined in ONE SUIT.
I ordered an extra hood and collar to have on hand in the event I did loose one so I have that in my back up gear inventory.
All other variables are pretty much the same across other high end suits.
Lastly, Price is great.

O'Neil Mutant ls the most reliable wetsuit I have ever gotten, out lasting the Super Freak by two years; plus they are comfortable and warm.

Warm and comfortable, but not reliable
Had this wetsuit for the PNW for a year. Awesome technology, warm, and comfortable, but not reliable. The back panel started to leak after about 1 year or 2 summers. The collar is also tearing apart from taking it on and off. I’m a surf coach, so I tent to use them quite a bit, but will try a different brand next time.

Love the Collar/ Hood Option
I love the wetsuit design, warmth, and ability to swap between the hood and collar. The front zipper is a bit of a nuisance as it takes a few tries to get it lined up each time. The wetsuit is Super flexible and easy to get in and out. It's my favorite wetsuit but I wish it was more durable. I've had this wetsuit for 13 months so far and had a torn zipper pin which O'Neill replaced the zipper under warranty. The neoprene firewall also ripped a small tear while getting out of the wetsuit which I was able to do a quick fix with O'Neill's liquid sealer. I think O'Neill changed out the front firewall when they replaced the front zipper because the logo on the front neoprene firewall was gone when I got it back from O'Neill. My wetsuit is now out of warranty so hopefully no more issue with this suit.
