Love how easy it is to get on and off. As an 80 year old, this is very important to me. Very comfortable and, best of all, warm. Should keep me going for another 10 years.

Stuff that works
I’ve been wearing this same model for over 40 years now. Probably have had at least 30 over the years. Warmer and more comfortable now with modern neoprene! Easy on and off for us old guys without dislocating your shoulders. I’ve tried others but always come back to this one. Good for as cold as I surf (usually low 50s occasionally 46ish F). like any wetsuit , they last about a year if I’m surfing enough. At 5’9”, 165lb, medium fits well. Saved 80 bucks on sale at Cleanline! Came quick with basic shipping. Stoked!

A real find
I tend to have problems with chest entry wetsuits and also at the short and plump end of most brands' XLS sizes (5'8, 205 lb, wear a 46S sport jacket--as if anyone wears those any more. Chest measurement is 44 but this is after about 9 months of limited activity due to sprained ankle, then a failed rotator cuff). Hotline's XLS is equivalent to O'Neill's XXLS, so I ordered the Ultra Hot in that size. The fit is perfect, abetted by slippery interior fabric, none of the carpet-like stuff that's widespread. The inside looks like a suit from Feral or 7tiil8. The huge chest entry is great, although the thin front over-the-head water barrier was difficult on first try. I expect it to loosen. Getting the hood on and off, easy. Chest zipper, easy. I live in Florida (ex Oregon), hope to visit the Outer Banks in the next few months.

I would say these run larger than the size chart say and compared to other wetsuit manufacturers
I'm 5'10 215 give or take. Went from an oneill psychotech xl. Good fit but long sleeves so I bought the hotline uhc Xls. Was way bigger than my old psychotech XL. Returned it for a large. Much better but i do think i could have even went with a LS. Buyer beware if ordering online. Other than that I'm stoked on it.

Warm and easy on off in 20°
5'10" 215# 46" chest and the xls fits good...legs a little long so the knee pads aren't centered...wish I was thinner or taller. But the suit is high quality had it out three times in 43° water for about 1 1/2 hours...hands and feet in 7mm got cold faster than body. Getting out of suit is the best with the wider shoulder zip especially with shoulder issues.cleanline staff very helpful and knowledgeable. Would be 5 stars if xls was a little more s.
