This template has more surface area than any Twin fin, and less surface area than any Keel fin. The Tomo Max Keel is a groundbreaking hybrid of traditional and performance templates, creating an inventive blend of trim, speed, control, and style.
"I began riding the Revo Max with the Endorfins Twin + 2 template, and it felt great, but I was struck by how pivoty the board felt because of how narrow the bases of the fin were in comparison to traditional Keel fins.
I knew I wanted more directional stability to match the rail line of the Revo Max, but not as much directional ‘lock in’ that traditional Keel templates are known for, so I immediately set out to design a fin that had enough base to create sufficient directional drive, but wasn’t so raked that it inhibited immediate response in performance maneuvers.
What I landed on was a performance Keel fin with just barely enough upright leading edge and trailing edge to create what has proven to be a extremely good sweet spot.
