In feel, The Channel Islands Mikey's Shorty Surfboard sits between the Two Happy’s user-friendliness and the 2.Pro’s high performance sharpness—emphasizing the flow and freedom of both. You’ll want to size this model as you would a normal shortboard. The Shorty’s staged rocker creates balanced drive and control, suiting both front- and back-footed with a large sweet spot. A subtle hip near the fins tightens turns and sharpens response in the pocket. Its high-performance outline delivers clean speed and release without losing flow, while foiled rails maintain sensitivity. Beneath, a single to-double concave runs from front foot through the fins for lift, control, and seamless rail-to-rail transitions.
Refined power with range, The Shorty channels Mikey’s signature style from lined-up points to punchy beach breaks.

Product Construction
Polyurethane/Polyester Resin
Building a board in PU means using a Polyurethane foam blank and glassing it with polyester (PE) resin . This is how the majority of today’s surfboards are built. It is not a new way to make a board, but the materials are very stable, strong, consistent, and easy to work with. Many surfers prefer the feel of PU boards because that is what they have ridden all their lives, and because they feel really good.
