Product Info

The idea for the Channel Islands Dumpster Diver 2 Surfboard came when riding the original Dumpster Diver while filming "Out of the Rafters" and tripping out how how tiny and short the Dumpster Diver felt and wanting to build a longer - modernized version. The DD2 has a wider nose and tail, more nose and tail rocker, and a more subtle single concave. These updates, among other tweaks, allow the board to excel in a wider range of conditions and letting your rip as hard as you think you do.

Ride 1" shorter than your Happy Everyday.

Product Construction

Polyurethane/Polyester Resin
Building a board in PU means using a Polyurethane foam blank and glassing it with polyester (PE) resin . This is how the majority of today’s surfboards are built. It is not a new way to make a board, but the materials are very stable, strong, consistent, and easy to work with. Many surfers prefer the feel of PU boards because that is what they have ridden all their lives, and because they feel really good.
