The Bing Deluxe Surfboard refines the proven Continental design into a lighter, faster, and more responsive log. With a narrower nose and tail, moved-back wide point, and added tail rocker, the Deluxe delivers quicker turns and improved lift for deeper, longer noserides. It maintains the Continental’s deep blended concave while switching to a green-density blank, reducing overall weight by 8–10 percent. Designed for nimble performance in the pocket without losing glide or stability.

Product Construction
Polyurethane/Polyester Resin
Building a board in PU means using a Polyurethane foam blank and glassing it with polyester (PE) resin . This is how the majority of today’s surfboards are built. It is not a new way to make a board, but the materials are very stable, strong, consistent, and easy to work with. Many surfers prefer the feel of PU boards because that is what they have ridden all their lives, and because they feel really good.
Additional Info
"After many years of success with the Continental, I decided to take the the best elements of the Continental and refine them into something more nimble on the nose and tail, hence the name Deluxe. With a narrower nose and tail while maintaining the same width as the Continental, I moved the wide point back veering from the parallel outline of the Continental and making the Deluxe turn much quicker. Preserving the deep blended concave of the Continental and adjusting the similar rocker at the tail by adding extra tail rocker to compensate for the narrow tail block this element add’s more lift on the nose, in total producing a faster more maneuverable design that can be placed in the pocket more quickly resulting in deeper and longer noserides. We also decided to switch the blank from the classic brown density used in the Continental to green density which lightens the board by about 8-10% in total weight. All in all, if you liked the Continental, you’re going to love the Deluxe." —Matt Calvani
