Product Info

The Bauer Bull Kelp Surfboard was designed and shaped for the NW and our wonky waves. Will ride from the nose and the tail equally well, keeping you in the waves, no matter the weather. Easy cutbacks paired with plenty of hold through the turns, the Bull Kelp will make sections a lot of other soft tail longboards can't.

Shaper Notes: Bottom contour features a deep nose concave which blends to a rolled bottom through the front 2/3 of the board. The last 1/3 of the board features vee panels with an edge. Rails are turned up 60/40 to the vee panel.

Hand-crafted Surfboards, Made Right
Washington surf is unique. Every mile of coastline is different and each wave it’s own animal. With so much variation, having a large quiver is a requirement. But not any old board will do. Chris Bauer has been riding and shaping boards in the PNW for 15 years and a decade more in California. A certified expert in hand-shaped watercraft, his boards are used by pros and groms alike.

Care Instructions from Bauer

  1. Rewax often
  2. Give it freshwater showers
  3. Fix your dings immediately
  4. Don't bake it in the sun on the beach
  5. Shred and be happy
