Wetsox products are designed to fit snugly, but not so tight that they restrict movement. If you are right on the cusp of two sizes and you have a broader build, it is suggested to size up. If you have slimmer build, trade down.

Surprisingly helpful

I was regretting buying some Vans booties which were renowned for their warmth but took me 15mins to get in and often 25mins to get out. I even broke a plastic shoehorn trying to get my feet out of these booties. I tried these on a whim and they are amazing! The wetsuit and booties slide on like butter and you can feel the increase in warmth with only a half millimeter of thickness. True story! My only detraction is that I have thick/athletic calves and they can roll a little and be a noticeable bulge under my suit's ankles but smoothing the sox would probably help.

Back in the 70's, we always wore wool socks under our suits for warmth. "Suits were pretty lousy in those days", and also for less pain, getting into a wet wetsuit in 38 degree air temps.
Now we have WetSox!! Getting in and out of your suit is much easier and it also reduces wear and tear on your wetsuit. It's a win/win/WIN product. Thanks WetSox!
