Lib Tech Surfboards, also known as Waterboards are out to change everything you know about surfboards. Made in the USA near Canada, they are environmentally friendly, light, nearly ding proof, and completely awesome.
Matt “Mayhem” Biolos, shaper for Lost Surfboards, and our friends at Lib Tech have teamed up and we couldn’t be more excited. Announced at this year’s Sima Surf Expo, Lib Tech will release one of Matt’s newer shapes, the Puddle Jumper, in their revolutionary waterboard construction for Spring. Also part of the collab are two retro fish snowboards.
Shown here is Marshall Alberga on the new Lost Collab.

We just added two Lib Tech Surfboards to our demo fleet this week and just in time for some good sized swell to test them out in. It is $25 per day to demo boards, but if you end up buying one we will put that money towards the board. Check out the boards listed below, and the surf report. Get some!
There’s an awesome interview over at ESPN.com about the new Lib Tech Surfboards. There is also some great video of our shop in Seaside the day the boards were delivered, along with some other local footage including surfing down at Shortsands.
On June 21, Lib Tech co-founder Mike Olson made the drive from Mervin Manufacturing to the Cleanline surfshop in Seaside, Ore., to personally deliver the first batch of Lib Tech Waterboards. It was a big day for Olson, for a couple of reasons. You see, he used to work at Cleanline, as their ding-repair dude back in the early 1980s. You could say that’s where he got his start.
