Rip Curl has just released their Hooded E-Bomb Wetsuit in a 4.5/3.5 thickness and we’ve got it! This new wetsuit fills a gap for those people who like to brave colder waters in a more flexible 4/3 suit, but still want the hood to stave off the ice cream headaches, and flushing that can happen sometimes when not wearing a hooded wetsuit.
Rip Curl E-Bomb 4.4/3.5 Hooded Wetsuit
Basically this wetsuit is the exact same as its 5.5/4.5mm counterpart, so here’s what Caleb (A Cleanline Employee who wears the Hooded E-Bomb) has to say about it.
I have been surfing in the Northwest since I was 8 years old, all the while struggling to find the right cold water wetsuit with a hood that fits. I have finally found it with the E-Bomb 5.5/4.5. It is the most flexible and warm suit, and the hood is the most comfortable on the market. I highly recommend this wetsuit for anyone surfing cold water anywhere!

We took everything we learned about building wetsuits for cold water and applied it to making suits for warmer water. We developed a new wetsuit fabric, built around recycled polyester, that still employs our proprietary grid technology. Our surfers and wetsuit designers get into the details.
