Position: Retail Assistant Store Manager

Who You Are

A self-motivated, hardworking, proactive leader with a positive attitude and at least two years of retail management experience. If you’re an outdoor enthusiast, this is a great position in an amazing location, with miles of nearby trails to hike and beaches to explore as well as a great community to get involved with.

Job Requirements

• Work 40 hours per week with weekend availability
• 8-hour shifts scheduled during store operating hours
• Retail experience required
• Management experience
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and troubleshoot
• Exceptional customer service and sales skills
• Ability to work with a team collaboratively

Job Responsibilities

• Managing/leading a team, delegating and overseeing projects, training staff on new products, policies, and procedures
• Scheduling and training new hires
• Overseeing day to day surf rental operations and maintenance
• Opening/Closing duties of the store and the registers
• Daily sales reports and bank deposits
• Maintaining vendor relationships
• Customer service and sales
• Retail floor maintenance (inventory, restocking, merchandising, organizing, etc…)
