beyeriii nailed it. I'm mainly use DaFin. Size Med-Large (9-10) will fit but is tight (my shoe size is 10.5 to 11), while XL (11-12) needs a back cushion and/or tether to securely stay on. A wave lip hitting an unsecured fin can neatly take it right off.

I've used Hydro Deluxe for several years, long enough to drop another brand. The Hydro clip system works much better for me than velcro loops--quicker to get on and off, both on the beach and in the water. Like beyeriii, I'd like to see the clips on opposite sides, so each would be on the inside of its ankle.

The ankle pads have worked fine. My new Hydros will be assigned to extra fins in the fin quiver.

Best Fin Savers in USA

Totally agree with Ciro, these are the best fin savers in the USA.

I tried lots of different types and The Hydro Deluxe are the best in the USA.

Make sure you get the Hydro DELUXE (not just the plain Hydro).
Reasons they are so good:
Padded Heal Strap
Strap goes over top of foot instead of around ankle
Strap clips on for easy access

Only things I would change... T
* The clips are both on the same side.
It would be better if one clip was on the left
and the other clip was on the right.
* Pad the straps that goes over the top
of the feet.

If you are in other parts of the world, try the
Ocean and Earth fins savers. They are almost
identical to the Hydro Deluxe.
