A super-short version of the long time popular Waterhog, the Hoglet catches waves easily while retaining the ability to turn on a dime. Fitted with a nice, wide nose and generous rocker throughout, the Hoglet scales down the funboard into a pygmy sized play-toy for all day entertainment. Ride this board any length you want.

Construction

Polyurethane/Polyester Resin
Polyurethane is the traditional way of hand making surfboards. This technique was introduced in the '50s and came after wooden surfboards. It starts with a polyurethane foam blank which is then glassed over with a fiberglass cloth. Polyester Resin is then applied by working on several layers before the board is finally sanded down to its final state. The result is a nice clean, smooth, hand shaped surfboard. What's also nice about this construction is that the PU foam is a closed cell so that it won't easily soak in water if you happen to encounter a ding. Plus, the technique has been perfected over the years and surfers know it so it feels familiar under their feet.
