If you’ve been missing out on the hottest new tech surfboards on the market don’t worry! Now through July 30th Cleanline Surf has a fleet of Lib Tech Surfboards for demo! If you haven’t heard of the Lib Tech boards, then check them out. Made locally and environmentally friendly the Lib Tech Surfboard line is in its infancy yet making waves in the surf industry no doubt. These demos are at no charge and available to anyone with an ID and a Credit Card to put down a deposit. Check out the list below to see what we have. The Surfrider Summer Soiree – July 25th

portland-surfriderCleanline Surf is proud to sponsor the Portland Chapter’s first annual Surfrider Summer Soiree will be held at the Holocene on July 25, 2013 and will bring together over 300 surfing and outdoor enthusiasts to support the Portland Chapter of Surfrider Foundation’s ”Clean Water Campaign”.

The mission of the Clean Water Campaign is to protect and restore the watersheds of Portland and the North Coast through education, advocacy, and volunteer stewardship. Programs to benefit include: Green Streets & Storm Drain Marking; Ocean Friendly Gardens; Oaks Crossing Park Restoration; and Blue Water Task Force.

Surfrider’s Otter Rock and Roll 2013

Otter Rock and Roll 2013 Surf Contest Lineup

On a fog draped Saturday morning, groms from all over the Pacific Northwest took to the waves at Devil’s Punchbowl State Park to compete in the Surfrider Foundation’s 5th annual Otter Rock and Roll competition. The competition was held by their Newport branch in honor of international Go Surfing Day. 67 competitors and over 200 spectators made it to the beach for  this fun filled event including a beach clean-up with prizes for best trash art, biggest piece of trash and numerous other fun categories. The sun did make an appearance making for  wonderful day of surf, sand, and smiles. The competitors put forth a great effort and most importantly it seemed a good time was had by all. The heat winners are as follows:
