Currently we are stocking mostly longboard fins, but we are planning on getting in a larger selection of fins, including Thrusters, and Quads, in the future so check back soon, and don’t forget we are always able to special order fins if you don’t see what you want on our website.
From True Ames:
About True Ames
Since 1979, Chuck Ames and the True Ames Fins team have been developing the finest fiberglass fins available. Known throughout the international surfing community for innovative designs and a prowess for experimentation, we continue to fulfill our mission to help surfers and windsurfers maximize and manipulate the performance of their vehicles of choice. This mission began in the turbulent surf industry of the 1980’s, as True Ames forged lasting relationships with notable surfers and shapers of the Santa Barbara area and beyond. We worked closely with local comrade Al Merrick and Channel Islands Surfboards, producing the templates and foils that helped navigate young Tommy Curren toward the first American World Title in many years. We began to make fins for Reynolds Yater, one of the most prolific and renowned figures in surfboard making. We worked with cult icons the Cambell Brothers in developing fin designs for Bonzer surfboards.
We just added two Lib Tech Surfboards to our demo fleet this week and just in time for some good sized swell to test them out in. It is $25 per day to demo boards, but if you end up buying one we will put that money towards the board. Check out the boards listed below, and the surf report. Get some!
We just received our first shipment of the new Thermotech White Composite Fins from Futures. The new styling colorway is available now online in the F6, F8, AM1, and AM2. Check out our entire selection of Futures Fins over at our online store, or come into one of our shops located in Seaside, and Cannon Beach, OR.
Technobutter is O’Neill’s new, exclusive, and most advanced neoprene ever. In the same spirit of innovation as previous O’Neill industry firsts, such as the patented Z.E.N.
