The Fletcher Four-Fin has been well established as a high performance quad. Nathan is best known for his fearless, fast and high-flying approach to combining elements of speed, looseness, sensitivity and control.
Outline: The Fletcher Four-Fin has the wide point exact center. This is a balanced template with a full nose and full tail. It's straighter rails running from the mid point to the tail induces speed and with two fins on the rail, allows you to take a high line with ease.
Rocker: Continuous rocker broadens the "sweet spot", increases turning ability and adds a "predictable" feel under your feet.
Rails: Medium-full 50/50 rail that holds the wave face no matter where you lean the board. The hard edge behind the front fins give a crisp release.
Bottom: Slight vee in the nose to a 5/16" deep single concave between your feet. Slight vee out the tail.
Polyester or PU construction uses traditional materials and laminating techniques to produce a strong, reliable surfboard with high quality finishes. A PU board is usually hand shaped or CNC machine shaped out of a polyurethane foam core. The foam core is laid up with weighted fiberglass cloth and laminated with polyester resin. The board is cured and then sanded to a desired smoothness and you have a traditional “fiberglass” surfboard. For years traditional polyester boards have been at the forefront of performance surfing. These boards feature a progressive flex pattern controlled by a high-grade timber stringer and feel very reliable under your feet. Polyester construction will perform in all surf conditions and can be adapted to suit a wide variety of surfboard models.
Please understand that because shipping a surfboard is different for each board, location and customer the shipping cost will vary from one order to the next. To account for this variable sometimes the full shipping amount will not be reflected in your checkout total. The balance of the shipping charge will be applied after the final quote has been verified and confirmed with both parties.
