The revolutionary Ex-fin surfboard skeg, popular in Hawaii during the 1980's, was invented by Race Hawaii owner Scott Bucknell. It was ridden by many of note along with Randy Rarick who displayed and rode The X Fin at the Legends Contest in South America in circa 1993.
