The Five by Channel Island is Al Merrick's hi-performance shortboard release during 2005 was a product of continued research with the world's top professionals such as Tim Curran and Kalani Robb. More nose and tail rocker than any design over the previous two years, combined with a flat to single concave bottom contour, provides for both speed and maneuverability. Narrow nose moves the wide-point back to accommodate quick explosive back-foot surfing styles. A board that needs to be ridden vertical. See your local dealer to custom order.
