The PERFORMER SERIES defines the boards that best suit performance surfing in hi performance conditions. These models are the primary boards used by all our team during WCT competition. But don’t be discouraged, this does not mean they are beyond the reach of the everyday surfer; rather they are the peak in performance equipment giving you the greatest opportunity to perform at your best.

Monsta 3

MONSTA 3 model is the most all round high performance board in the JS quiver. Its been credited as the 2013 surfboard of the year by the ASRA (Aust. Surf Retailers Awards) as well as playing a major part in Parkos WCT victory.

It slots in the huge gap found between perfection and absolute slop. This model has been building momentum since its release in 2010, undergoing slight adjustments from event to event and surfer to surfer to finally arrive at its ideal state.

The M3 is built off the boards that Joel, Dusty, Ace, Julian and Gabriel Madina all rode throughout 2013.

RAIL TYPE - MONSTA 3 has medium rails. Mostly focused on performance turns but also helps reduce catch from chop or soft sections.
WAVE HEIGHT - Best performance of MONSTA 3 will be found in both average almond to good hollow waves between 1 and 6 feet. Our team used MONSTA throughout 2013 at: Snapper (Parko 2nd - sml days), Ballito, Mr Price Pro (Julian 1st), Bali (Parko 1st - small days), Trestles Pro (Julian 2nd), France (on the smaller days), Portugal
FIN TYPE - MONSTA 3 comes stock and is recommended as a thruster. Alternative setups are available with custom orders.
GLASSING - 4x4 oz deck, 4 oz bottom + carbon patches

EXIT ROCKER - Medium exit rocker is a comfortable balance between drive and release. Suits largest range of conditions

ENTRY ROCKER - Little (slight) entry rocker is good for creating speed and glide in small to average conditions.

CONCAVE - Single concave starts in the nose to direct water under your feet for lift and speed. Double concave starts in front of fins wich maintains lift and directs water release for maneuverability.
