The following Summer Series models are JS’s most current and reputable small wave models. The Summer series commits itself to gaining the most out of small to average conditions allowing more days in the water.
BLAK BOX offers a fuller curvy outline with a higher and more defined hip pulled from the fins into a nice straight directional tail curve through to the wider tail pod. JS has spent a lot of time on this model combining old school outlines with the latest bottom curves showcasing plenty of detail. Once again Jason has come through with another house favorite amongst the JS pro team for smaller waves. The deck is flat giving the board an overall feeling of extra forgiveness allowing you to ride this board thinner than a normal performance board. You will find this board fast in flat sections because extra foam has been left under your chest and front foot. Ride this board 3-4 inches shorter than normal.
RAIL TYPE - Blak Box has a flatter deck than most models. Its rails are set just low enough to give you maximum performance in good waves without catching in less favorable conditions.
WAVE HEIGHT - Best performance of the Blak Box will be found in waves up to 4 foot.
FIN TYPE - Blak Box is designed to best perform as a thruster. Alternative fin set ups are available on custom orders.
PARKO'S GARAGE - This board is part of PARKOS GARAGE. PG is the complete range of boards in Parkos current quiver.
EXIT ROCKER - Little (slight) exit rocker will create drive and speed in small to medium wave types.
ENTRY ROCKER - Little (slight) entry rocker is good for creating speed and glide. Performs well in small to medium sized surf.
CONCAVE - The entry is super flat with a double scoop concave under the chest leading into relatively deeper double concave between the fins and single concave exit out through the wider tail.
