Jimmy's new KWAD is Jimmy's fast and loose four fin short board. Where the chamber has more of the tight carve on rails, the KWAD has a little release in the tail that gives it that looser skatey feel. Also, the board is a little wider than the chamber and the hips a little further forward. The lighter construction makes this a strapless favorite for kiters as well.

JL SIGNATURE CONSTRUCTION
JL Signature Construction includes a stringerless EPS core, Coremat wrapped rails, High Density PVC foam sandwich on deck and bottom, PVC foam reinforced finboxes.
Press your thumb into the deck or bottom and there is no movement or give. This lets you know there is more going on than normal surfboard construction. The key is the I-beam effect of separating the layers of glass with high density PVC foam. Like a steel I-beam, the further apart the parallel layers are, the stronger and lighter the "sandwich" becomes. The rails are frames with Core-mat, a thick material that absorbs resin like a rock. The fin boxes are all reinforced. This is one of the strongest and lightest constructions available.
