The Jimmy Lewis Destroyer is a great fun shape mini tanker. This is the go-to board for all conditions and riders. The Destroyer excels in every type of surf condition from knee high to well overhead points and bowls. Where the Destroyer really delivers is in its ability to link powerful sections in waves that are often plagued by flat sections in between. You'll find yourself making sections and carrying speed like you never have before!
You won't miss a wave, and once you're on it, you'll take it all the way.
JL SIGNATURE CONSTRUCTION
JL Signature Construction includes a stringerless EPS core, Coremat wrapped rails, High Density PVC foam sandwich on deck and bottom, PVC foam reinforced finboxes.
Press your thumb into the deck or mottom and there is no movement or give. This lets you know there is more going on than normal surfboard construction. The key is the I-beam effect of seperating the layers of glass with high density PVC foam. Like a steel I-beam, the further apart the parallel layers are, the stronger and lighter the "sandwich" becomes. The rails are frames with Core-mat, a thick material that absorbs resin like a rock. The fin boxes are all reinforced. This is one of the strongest and lightest constructions available.

RatingI've only been surfing for 3 months and this board has given me the encouragement and confidence I need to keep getting back in the water. Super easy for a Barney like me to turn and glides through the smaller waves I'm riding. I recommend this board to any new kid on the block and I can't wait to see how it performs as I increase my skill level.(Posted on 11/10/2015) 2015-11-10
- Jimmy Lewis - Destroyer Surfboard - 2014 good all around mini longboard.Review by shredwards shredwards
RatingI surfed this board on a clean day when it was shoulder to head high on some sets. I liked it for the most part. Easy paddler and has lots of drive. I had no problem getting my turns in and walking the deck. Its pretty fast going down the line. I didn't like the positioning on how forward I had to be on the board to drop in, but that's my own personal preference. other than that I have no complaints. great for mild head high days, I could imagine it would be just as much fun on some slightly smaller surf as well.(Posted on 10/29/2015) 2015-10-29
