Delivering excitement in everyday conditions, the Firewire Spitfire FST Surfboard puts more maneuverability into a full outline shortboard. Firewire Marketing Director, Chuy Reyna, was looking for all the benefits of the Dominator but even more performance. The Spitfire combines a diamond tail and step-down tail rail, giving the Spitfire the tail bite of a thinner board, without losing the Dominator's speed and flotation. The Spitfire offers the same 5/4/3 fin options and a low entry rocker for easy paddling.
"Grom" boards available at special pricing.

CONSTRUCTION TimberTek Construction
Firewire's TimberTek construction represents a significant step forward towards the holy grail of any product designed and manufactured in today's environmentally conscious world. Firewire's TimberTek has by far one of the least toxic and smallest carbon footprints of any commercially available surfboard today. The combination of a lightweight EPS core, sustainably-grown Paulownia wood deck skins, Firewire's proprietary parabolic rail construction, and an Entropy bio-resin hot coat yield an extremely lightweight, durable surfboard with ALL of the high performance flex characteristics of Firewire's existing technologies.

- Firewire Surfboards Spitfire TimberTek Great all around boardReview by Dave Dave
RatingThis is a full volume shortboard that paddles and catches waves very well, but also performs like a very high performance board. I've ridden it in chest high slop to hollow head and half, and been impressed in both conditions. I'm 6'1" 200lbs. 45yrs(Posted on 12/7/2016) 2016-12-07

RatingI'm an intermediate woman 43, and weigh 115lbs. Got this board in a 6'8" - I usually ride a 9+ becker, so was a little nervous to go too short. Great board, quick to turn and fun 1(Posted on 6/22/2016) 2016-06-22
- Firewire Surfboards Spitfire TimberTek Fast and FunReview by Johnny Ballgame Johnny Ballgame
RatingI'm 6'4 210lbs beg/int. Demoed the 6'6" and rode it as a thruster on a 3-5 ft day at Shorties. It was perfect for those conditions. Super fast and skatey and was able to get past a couple sections I might not normally make. It didn't paddle as well as the Dominator in the same size, but was def more high performance. I doubt at my weight and ability I could ride it in smaller conditions, but for 3-5 ft magic!(Posted on 9/2/2015) 2015-09-02
