The Creeper Surfboard will have you vibing and smiling so much people start to wonder. This 70's inspired shape from style master Rob Machado has a low entry rocker for smooth paddling a fluidity that will let you sneak in under the lip and set your path cleanly. The full outline in the tail allows for quick direction changes and seamless carves while still providing effortless gliding. Ideal for waves waist to head high, this performance egg hybrid has everything you need for all day enjoyment and nonchalant style.
Working with Hawaiian artist Sig Zane, Rob has released a special collaborative version of the Creeper. The nature inspired design was pulled from the flora and fauna of the islands and then worked out between Rob and Sig as board art. The Creeper has a pattern they have dubbed Ponoholo. Literally translated to "the right to travel" while figuratively meaning "travel righteously".
"Traditional stamp designs convey layers of intent with imagery fortifying familial ties. Carved archaic forms in bamboo are still relevant in a modern society. The simple visual narratives carry strength in their intent. The universe is our map, providing pathways to distant points. The reflection in the waters illustrate the constellations, highlighting direction and scope. These trails are the indelible avenues for our future generations. Illustrating these routes are incentives for each of us on the continual search."
'Our incised images are the reflection of the universe we travel. The past has been proven, the future lies ahead. Honoring ancestor provides the next generation with the chart, ready to manifest itself again. Ponoholo, moving about honestly. Ponoholo, looking ahead while looking back. The travels are a reflection of time!" - Sig Zane/Rob Machado

The combination of a lightweight EPS core, sustainably-grown Paulownia wood deck skins, Firewire's proprietary parabolic rail construction, and an Entropy bio-resin hot coat yield an extremely lightweight, durable surfboard with ALL of the high performance flex characteristics of Firewire's existing technologies.
