Great 5 piece pad that was designed for the OG Santa Cruz aerialist, Mavericks-charger, visual artist Shawn “Barney” Barron. This 5 piece shape works well for longer boards and allows a lot of play in positioning. Especially with the front two pieces, as you can position them out for more coverage, run them closer or don’t use them at all and set the pad as a 3 piece. If it looks familiar, it’s because it’s one of the most copied traction pads with pretty much every company now doing a version of this design.
